new blog for unknown artist

Dear visitor, for a couple of years now, we are collectings etchings, lithographs and original paintings of an artist who signed all his works with the simple " RIC ". Now it's time to use the power of internet-communication to find out who is/was behind this name. So please feel free to comment as much as you like and ask as many questions as you want.

All we could say today is that his works are mainly located in Germany, Northern Germany to be more specific. The style reminds Lyonel Feininger. The subjects are located in the maritime life (ship, harbours, waterbirds etc...). Nearly on all items the paper is marked with the stamping "JCB" on the lower left. Signature is on the lower right "RIC".
